Strobbo can automatically determine your scheduling based on the open worktimes you input.

Please note, this function is not free. If you want to use our autoscheduling feature, ask for more information via our chat.

This guide is broken down into the following subsections:

Where do I find autoscheduling?

You can find autoscheduling in both the daily and weekly planning screens.
To start automatic scheduling, first navigate to the daily or weekly overview.

Then, click in the sidebar on the autoscheduling symbol.

If you hover your mouse over the autoscheduling module symbol, “Calculate scheduling” appears.

How does autoscheduling work?

If you want to use autoscheduling based on open worktimes, you first need to create open worktimes in the weekly schedule.

Tip: If you often use the same open worktimes, you may wish to save these as a template. To do this, please read this guide.

You first step is always to create open worktimes in a week. Our tool will then suggest a schedule to you based on the open worktimes created and the profiles saved in the system.

Ensure that everyone has an autoscheduling profile

During your training period with Strobbo, we will work with you to configure autoscheduling and create multiple autoscheduling profiles.

We can determine the rules of the scheduling for each profile to define what you consider to be optimum scheduling. For example, we define how many days and hours someone can work in a week.

You cannot set up these profiles yourself. The Strobbo technical team does this for you.

Important: ensure that there is a linked autoscheduling profile for everyone we need to calculate a schedule for.

When applying needs to users, the system takes into account the applicable rules from their profile.

How do I start autoscheduling?

  • First, go to the daily or weekly planner.

  • Ensure that all open worktimes have been created.

Note: you must create an open worktime for every day.
If you have not done this, you’ll see a notification.
Of course, if necessary you can force-start planning by clicking “yes”, but no schedule will be created for the days without open worktimes.

  • The system will then start calculating. The following message tells you it has started.

  • When the schedule has been fully calculated, you’ll return to the work schedule.

  • If necessary, you can now make any changes.

How do I stop autoscheduling?

If you want to cancel the autoscheduling, you can do this at any time by clicking on the red “Cancel calculation” button.

The system then asks if you are sure. If you definitely want to cancel, click “yes”.

How do I view the autoscheduling status?

Go to the daily or weekly planner and click on the autoscheduling symbol. You will then see an overview of who started (and cancelled, if relevant) the scheduling.
