You can add an absence on 3 different ways in Strobbo:

This manual will inform you on adding an absence via a worktime on the planning or the time entry overview.

Via a worktime on the planning

You can add an absence via a worktime that has been send to the employee.

Please note that you can't add an absence on a grey worktime.

The steps to add an absence:

  • You navigate to Planning.

  • You click on the 3 dots in the worktime.

  • You select "add absence".

  • The following screen will open:

By default the day, employee and duration is already selected. You only need to select the correct absence type.

  • Click on "add".

  • You will receive a warning that you are going to cancel the worktime. Choose yes if you want to register an absence for that worktime.

  • You will receive an option to inform the employee via mail. Select email if you want to send an email.

  • The worktime is cancelled and the absence is added on the planning.

Via time entry overview

If an employee did not clock in and he had a planning for that day you can add an absence via the time entry overview.

This can be done by the following steps:

  • Navigate via "Planning" to "Time entry overview"

  • Employees that did not clock in a day in the past are indicated in orange.

  • In the column "actions" you can find an umbrella. Via this button you can add an absence.

  • The following screen will pop open:

    • By default the day, employee and duration is already selected. You only need to select the correct absence type.

  • Click on "add"

  • You will receive a warning that you are going to cancel the worktime. Choose yes if you want to register an absence for that worktime.

  • You will receive an option to inform the employee via mail. Select email if you want to send an email.

  • The orange line will disappear and the absence is registered.
