The reporting dashboards provide new insights into your business.
All the different dashboards work in the same way. The general operation is explained below. To use the reporting dashboards, you need to activate them. See activate reporting.

New vs old reporting module

Currently, Strobbo is revising the reporting module. Customers who have the new reporting functionality enabled will temporarily have access to both the old and new reporting dashboards. Over time, the new dashboards will replace the old ones. The 'New' label distinguishes the newly introduced dashboards.

The features described below only apply to the new reporting dashboards. Also, the Excel export and export via public services are only available if the new reporting functionality has been activated for you.

Filters

On the left of the dashboard, you will find the filters. On each dashboard, you can at least filter by period and by workspace. Where relevant, additional filters have been added such as the statute or the work area.

By default, the period is set to the current week. Also, by default, the workspace filter follows the workspaces you have set up in the application, but you can change it on the dashboards without impacting the rest of the Strobbo application.

If you adjust the filters for the period and workspace on one dashboard, these filters will also be adjusted on the other dashboards, so you don't have to reset them for each dashboard. This only applies to the period and workspace filters, not to any other filters that might be present on the dashboard.

Applying filters using the graphs

You can filter the data displayed on the dashboard via a graph instead of using the filters listed at the top left.

If you click on a particular value on a graph, the entire dashboard will be filtered based on that value. In the example below, the user has clicked the value 'Student' for the statute on the graph. As a result, all other graphs on that dashboard will only show data applicable to the 'Student' statute.

Export to Excel

On each dashboard, you have the option to export data to Excel. When using the export functionality, you need to specify the period for which you want to export data.

This data export doesn’t take into account any filters you might have set on the dashboard. All data you have access to will be exported for the selected period.

Exports via public services

In addition to exporting data via Excel, you can also request the data visualized on a dashboard through Strobbo's public API.

More information can be found at: https://services.strobbo.com/api/documentation

Export options on the graphs

On the graphs present on a dashboard, you also have several export options.

You can export the graph to a CSV file (comma separated value), an Excel file, or a PNG image. The data exported is the data visualised on the graph. This is typically only a limited amount and contains much less detail than the Excel export available on the dashboards.

Authorisation

Who has access?

Only users of the type "admin" or "chef" will be able to use the dashboards.
Dashboards ( Payroll and Wages ) containing sensitive data are only available for users of the type "admin".

What data is shown on the dashboard

On the dashboard, you can only view data that you, the user, have access to. Suppose you work in a company with 2 workspaces. You, in the role of administrator, only have access to 1 of the 2 workspaces. On the dashboard, you will only see the data from the workspace you have access to.

The same goes for the Excel export of the data and the export via the public API.
