If you frequently plan the same shift patterns, our templates feature could save you a lot of time and effort.

In this guide you will learn how to:

Use the side bar to create a template.

Creating templates

To create a template:

  • go to the week planner;

  • plan in the shifts you want to appear on your template;

  • go to the side bar:

  • click “create template”;

  • add a name and description, and then click “create”.

Loading templates

To load a template:

  • go to the week planner;

  • go to the side bar;

  • click “load template”;

  • this opens a list of your saved templates;

  • you can search this list by name using the search bar at the top;

  • click the blue arrow button next to your required template.

If there are clashes, you can choose to create

  • an open shift, which creates an open shift in the same work area.

  • a shift, which creates a shift at that time for the employee.

  • skip, in which case nothing happens with the shift clash.

Editing a template

You can easily edit a template by:

  • Loading the required template;

  • making the necessary changes;

  • saving the template by clicking “create template”.

  • (don't forget to delete the old template)

Deleting a template

  • Go to Planning > Templates;

  • click on the cross behind the template that you want to delete.

Change a template
