The different colours

Under the calendar is an overview of what the various colours indicate.

  • The circle around the date indicates the current day.

  • Green box: approved absence.

  • Orange box: absence request pending, must be approved/rejected by admin/manager.

  • Red box: rejected absence.

  • You can always recognise a national holiday by the black box.

  • Blue dotted lines indicate additional availability.

Approving or rejecting requested absences

Orange indicates a pending absence request.

Click in the orange box in front of the user’s name to select the absence.

The grey buttons in the top right should appear in colour.

Next, click at the top on:

  • The green button, ‘Approve absence’ to approve the request, or

  • The red button ‘Reject absence’ to reject the request.

You can also reject a previously approved absence.

  • To do this, select the approved absence you want to reject.

  • Click on the red button, ‘Reject absence’.

  • A pop-up appears, allowing you to select how you’d like to inform the employee.

Note: do this is an approved absence in the future.

Filtering by absences or availability

On this page you can filter by

- Absences

- Availability

- Holidays (if added)

Filtering by type of holiday

You can select which types of holiday are visible in the calendar view.

De-select the types you don’t want to be visible.

The ‘Add’ button

The ‘add’ button allows you to

- Add an absence

- Add extra availability

- Add a legal holiday.

Changing between calendar and list view

This button allows you to switch between the calendar and list display.
