How do I add a work area?

Via “Settings – work areas”, you can add and adjust work areas, and assign employees to the work areas.


You can add a work area:

  • Click on the green "Add " button.

  • The following pop-up will open.

Fill in the following details.

  • Name of the work area

  • Select the correct workspace

  • Select a colour for the workspace if you want to have one

  • Number of records

  • Function title

    • On a student contract you can find this under the “Qualification” field.
      Note: this function title is copied if the student is scheduled.

  • External ID

    • You should fill this in if you are linking with a third party

  • External ID (alphanumeric)

    • You should fill this in if you are linking with a third party

Now you can add the employees to the work area.

  • Use the button “Assign employees” to allocate employees to your work area.

  • The following pop-up will open.

  • Select the correct work area

  • You can see a list of all employees, select the ones who can work in this work area.

  • Click save when you are ready.
